Position Overview:
This position offers an opportunity to lead site construction operations for utility-scale energy storage projects across the United States, particularly the South Central, Mid-Western areas. The Construction Manager will oversee on-site execution, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of all phases of construction. The role requires a collaborative mindset, strong field leadership, and experience with multi-trade coordination and self-perform work. Typical rotation in this role will be 3 weeks at site, 1 week remote.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight for all site personnel, including subcontractors and self-perform teams.
•Track and report site-level financials in collaboration with project leadership including Superintendents, Coordinators, and the Project Manager.
•Act as the primary on-site liaison between the field, project management, and the client—ensuring alignment and clear communication.
•Support and promote a strong jobsite safety culture in partnership with the Safety team.
•Ensure quality standards are met through regular oversight, implementation of quality programs, and team training.
Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience in site management, with a strong background in self-perform operations and coordination across multiple trades.
•Experience of utility-scale energy storage projects (highly preferred).
•Experience of utility-scale solar projects.
•Excellent communication and leadership skills; comfortable speaking to large and diverse groups (up to 500+ team members).
•Proven commitment to modern, proactive safety practices and continuous improvement.
•Ability to pass an MVR check, background screening, physical, and drug test.
•Willingness to travel and relocate full-time to project sites, working on a rotation-based schedule.
