Responsibilities include:
o Assist the Construction Management General Supervisor in planning and executing site construction activities
o Assist the Project Management team throughout all phases of the project
o Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
o Monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
•Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
o Adhere to Orano’s safety policies and ensure compliance with radiation safety and environmental standards
o Participate in site safety meetings and contribute to a safe work culture
•Mechanical and Piping Project Focus:
o Provide technical support for the installation and commissioning of mechanical, and piping systems
o Collaborate with the Construction Management General Supervisor and engineering teams to resolve on-site challenges
o Conduct inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
o Report any deviations or issues to the Construction Management General Supervisor for resolution
•Coordination and Reporting:
o Maintain clear communication with the Construction Management General Supervisor and other stakeholders
o Prepare progress updates and contribute to reports as required
•Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture
•Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Ideal qualifications
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
•Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Red Seal Trade Certification, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
o If degree is in Engineering, must be eligible for registration for APEGS
•Certifications (e.g., CMP, PMP) considered an asset
•NDE Certifications (e.g., MT, PT, UT, QA, QC) considered an asset
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in mining or heavy industrial projects
•Familiarity with mechanical and piping systems in mining operations is strongly preferred. Civil works considered asset
•In-depth background in large scale industrial constructions works, applicable codes and best practices
•Knowledge of Canadian mining regulations and environmental standards
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to remote work environments
•Effective communication skills for coordination and reporting
Work Location & Schedule:
•14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
•Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
•Requires work in adverse weather conditions in all seasons
