Daley Design + Build is a full service design and construction company focusing on new construction, remodeling and addition projects. Our low quantity approach to business (5-6 projects/year) allows us to maintain focus and ensure the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship are achieved on every home.

We are seeking a Construction Supervisor (“Supervisor”) to provide company on-site management, along with some hands on project related services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow with and help expand a business from its early years.

Reports to: Project Manager

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM, mostly in the field but sometimes in the office *Please Note: Occasional client or team meetings after hours.

This individual will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. To be a self-motivated individual with an eye for quality and the ability to manage deliveries, lead subcontractors and manage overall job sites independently;

2. Review Daley Construction Details with all subcontractors to ensure that work is happening how DD+B wants it completed, and not simply how each subcontractor performs work for other builders;

3. The role is to be our Project Manager’s eyes and ears in the field, so this will require daily updates to the Project Manager about who is on our sites (or not on site) each day.

4. Take daily photos of every stage of every project and upload to server, Buildertrend or GoogleDrive as requested by Project Manager;

5. Execute on site supervision of Employer’s construction projects in accordance with the construction documents, change orders, and instruction from Employer;

6. Day-to-day job site Quality Control inspections to ensure that each subcontractor is executing their job at the level of quality that builder and clients are expecting;

7. Daily communicating of projects status, subcontractor questions, updates, and issues with Project Manager(s) and third party subcontractors as appropriate;

8. Daily confirmation that all sites have necessary safety railings and signage;

9. Daily management of job sites to ensure that job sites are clean, ensure that all construction materials are protected from the weather and / or vandalism;

10. Coordinate material deliveries to be organized and out of the way for others;

11. Occasional materials pickup and delivery via pickup or box truck;

12. Schedule and attend all building inspections by Hamilton County and other inspections parties such as NIC, IBI and or county / city building departments;

13. Building and maintaining relationships throughout the greater Cincinnati residential construction industry on behalf of Employer;

14. If Supervisor becomes aware of any fault or defect in a project or nonconformance with contractdocuments, Supervisor shall give prompt written notice to Employer regarding it;

15. Complying with Employer’s operating and reporting procedures;

16. Wear DD+B corporate wardrobe.

: In performing the Duties, the Supervisor is expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours a week. There may be times when this position will require more than 40 hours of work a week to ensure that projects stay on schedule. Adjustments to the Title, Duties, Hours and/or Other Terms and Conditions described above at any time and at Employer’s discretion.
