About The Position
The Engineering and Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing construction of Substation and Transmission Line projects including new facilities, upgrades, and maintenance of existing facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required. Professional Engineer License, PMP Certification, CCM and/or CPC preferred. Five or more years of transmission, distribution or project management experience is required. Supervisory or team/contractor leadership experience preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Knowledge of materials, methods and tools in the construction and maintenance of Transmission and Distribution facilities. Knowledge of general construction processes, principles and activities. Strong leadership, management, analytical, communication and human relations skills. Must be adaptable and flexible. Knowledge of Safe work practices and ability to influence safe behaviors of contractors and others. The Engineering and Construction Supervisor-1 works during normal business hours in a field environment. Overnight travel may be required multiple days per week, depending on location of construction projects. Subject to call-out and overtime as required for storm restoration and project work.

Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
