Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various framing techniques and a strong understanding of construction processes. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in the building process, ensuring that structures are framed accurately and safely. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in diverse environments, including residential and commercial sites.

Duties

•

Construct and install wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.

•

Perform metal stud framing as required for specific projects.

•

Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are met.

•

Install drywall and plaster as part of the finishing process.

•

Engage in heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials on the construction site.

•

Assist with concrete finishing tasks when necessary.

•

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.

•

Participate in the erection of metal buildings as needed.

Skills

•

Proven experience as a carpenter or framer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

•

Knowledge of remodeling techniques and best practices in framing.

•

Familiarity with metal stud framing and drywall installation.

•

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently.

•

Experience with concrete finishing is a plus.

•

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

Understanding of construction site safety protocols.
