Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Framer to join our construction team. This role involves building the structural framework of residential and commercial buildings as well as handling finish carpentry tasks. Candidates should have experience in both rough framing and general carpentry, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
•Construct and install framing components including walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs
•Interpret and follow blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
•Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials accurately
•Install windows, doors, trim, and other finish carpentry elements
•Ensure that all structures are level, square, and structurally sound
•Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
•Collaborate with supervisors and other tradespeople on job sites
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a framer and/or carpenter
•Strong understanding of framing techniques and carpentry methods
•Ability to read construction documents and use layout tools
•Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
•Excellent physical stamina, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
•High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship is a plus
