Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to support the development, implementation, and operations of innovative electric transportation and EV infrastructure projects. This role will focus on emerging technologies including direct current fast charging (DCFC), public and workplace charging, fleet and transit electrification, and load control solutions. You will coordinate and oversee technical efforts from project initiation through execution, working with contractors, consultants, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
•Administer contracts and supervise construction contractors and service providers
•Manage and support the implementation of electric transportation infrastructure projects
•Develop technical RFPs, oversee equipment procurement, and supervise installations
•Represent the organization in industry committees and technical groups
•Supervise project teams and service contractors at project and customer sites
•Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and schedules
•Coordinate with customers, engineers, and contractors on project execution and reporting
•Review contractor proposals, evaluate bids, and recommend contract awards
•Monitor budgets, approve invoices and change orders, and support project reporting
•Foster technology transfer and communicate lessons learned across teams and stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
•Strong project management and contractor supervision experience
•Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage complex technical projects
•Knowledge of electric utility systems and engineering best practices
•Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Familiarity with standards, codes, metering devices, instrumentation, and data acquisition
•Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
Education & Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
•Minimum 5 years of experience with utilities, manufacturers, contractors, consultants, or energy service providers

Pay: $52.00 - $56.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
