About The Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Construction Coordinator to support a 3+ month project in Labrador West. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who excels in the field, bridging the gap between engineering design and construction execution. The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, supporting the resolution of technical issues, and maintaining close communication with contractors and project stakeholders.

- Monitor field construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards

- Serve as a key liaison between engineering, contractors, and site management teams

- Support the resolution of technical issues and field design changes during construction

- Review work progress and verify quality against project requirements

- Track construction metrics, progress reporting, and schedule alignment

- Coordinate permits, inspections, and documentation related to construction activities

- Participate in field walkdowns, punch list reviews, and turnover processes

- Assist in reviewing contractor submittals and RFIs (requests for information)

- Maintain organized field records and contribute to daily/weekly construction reports

- Promote a culture of safety and ensure field teams are working within established protocols

About You

- Diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field

- 3+ years of experience in a construction coordination, field engineering, or similar role

- Familiarity with heavy industrial construction practices, particularly in mining or energy sectors

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawing and construction documentation

- Strong communication and coordination skills, with a focus on collaboration and accountability

- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced site environments

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction tracking tools; familiarity with project controls systems an asset
