Overview

We are seeking skilled Concrete Finishers and Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and the ability to read blueprints and specifications accurately. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

•

Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring and finishing.

•

Pour, spread, and level concrete using various tools and equipment with knowledge of all concrete finishing tools.

•

Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, such as trowels and floats.

•

Ensure proper curing of concrete to achieve desired strength and durability.

•

Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.

•

Collaborate with other construction team members to complete projects on time.

•

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

•

Experience in set-up and finishing of all aspects of concrete work.

•

Applicants with a Class A or B Commercial Driver License and experience operating various equipment, including a skid loader, is preferred but not necessary.

•

Ability to take direction well

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Concrete Laborer or Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.

•

Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

•

Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.

•

Must be able to handle physical labor for construction (kneeling, bending, lifting, involvement in pour, wheelbarrows and shoveling).

•

Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor for extended periods.

•

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

•

Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

We are a busy with a mix of commercial and residential projects with our work load covering the entire metro area around the twin cities, as well as opportunities in surrounding states.
