Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to execute high-quality finishes on various projects. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our concrete structures meet both aesthetic and structural standards. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety.
Duties
•
Prepare and level surfaces for concrete pouring by using tools such as screeds and floats.
•
Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
•
Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate placement of concrete elements.
•
Collaborate with other construction professionals, including masons and drywall installers, to coordinate work efforts.
•
Perform concrete forming tasks, including setting up forms for slabs, walls, and other structures.
•
Lay tiles as needed on finished surfaces for aesthetic enhancement.
•
Assist in the renovation and restoration of existing concrete structures, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
•
Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields is preferred.
•
Familiarity with masonry techniques is a plus.
•
Experience in commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials to job sites.
•
Knowledge of drywall installation and renovation processes is advantageous.
•
Ability to build and renovate various structures while maintaining high-quality standards is essential.
