Completions Engineer

Provides expert judgment for the design and implementation of oil and gas wells. Resolves highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research into emerging technology in the field. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve safety, costs, and efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to a manager or head of a unit/department
