Job Summary:
Seismos is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real-Time Data Integrity Engineer to join our Real-Time Technology Center (RTTC) team. This role is responsible for monitoring, processing, and reporting real-time data with a focus on ensuring data quality, analyzing pressure and acoustic signals, and communicating insights directly to clients during live operations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Monitor and validate data acquisition in real time to ensure signal quality and system integrity.
•Analyze pumping plots and identify key operational events, including breakdowns, rate drops, and pressure responses.
•Interpret acoustic signals triggered by rate changes to provide diagnostic insights.
•Process data using proprietary GUI tools to deliver accurate and timely results.
•Generate wellbore diagrams and maintain consistent, accurate documentation for each job.
•Archive data and organize job folders for future retrieval, review, and regulatory compliance.
•Report directly to clients in real time, delivering actionable insights and answering technical inquiries
•Identify and escalate anomalies or equipment-related data issues to appropriate teams.
•Support post-job reviews by summarizing key operational highlights and findings.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field engineers, data scientists, and software developers, to improve workflows and outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, geophysics, data science, or a related field.
•Familiarity with frac operations.
•Excellent communication skills, especially in high-stakes or live reporting scenarios.
•Attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex datasets quickly and accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Prior experience working in a real-time operations center or in frac diagnostics.
•Knowledge of wellbore geometry, perforation clusters, and completion design.
•Experience with DAQ systems and pressure sensors.
•Comfortable working shift schedules and being available during live jobs.
