We’re growing and looking for a Completions Specialist to join our team. You’re self-motivated, detail oriented and organized. You thrive in an environment where the work is dynamic and involves finding solutions to technology challenges. While working as a completion’s specialist, you’ll gain insight to resource play development, where leading edge well completion technologies are being applied and significant capital is, and will continue to be, invested.
This entry level role supports the Frac and Completions Team, and reports to the Director of Data.
How will you spend your day?
•Identifying important wells based on data currency, production results, play relevancy, client request, and other factors.
•Review drilling and completion reports to bookmark and extract key information based on context, experience and a developed understanding of drilling, completion and stimulation techniques.
•Identify key data to be extracted, and inputting into Quality Assurance System, according to a pre-described format.
•Correcting and editing the content and format of recorded data as required ensuring data integrity.
•Liaising with clients, service companies and related organizations across the industry if required.
•Participation in regularly scheduled project and staff meetings.
•Opportunities for professional development with guidance from geoLOGIC Engineers.
•Assistance with other projects and initiatives on an as-needed basis.
Ready to Apply? Here’s what we’re looking for:
•A Petroleum Engineering Technology Diploma (SAIT) or comparable educational program.
•Comparable educational credentials or work experience in the industry will be considered.
•Drilling & completions knowledge especially with respect to drilling and completions reports and technologies.
•Familiarity with the following:
+ oil and gas industry terminology
+ databases and data entry methods
