Position Summary

Burrow Global is seeking a highly experienced

Commissioning Lead

to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking reduced-hour commitments while continuing to make a high-impact contribution within the EPC industry. Ideal for retirees or semi-retired individuals, this position requires strong project management skills and a proven track record in commissioning within complex industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

•

Lead and coordinate commissioning activities across all project phases (pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up).

•

Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures in accordance with project scope and safety standards.

•

Interface with project teams including engineering, construction, and client representatives to ensure alignment on system readiness.

•

Review and validate commissioning documentation, schedules, and punch lists.

•

Provide on-site leadership during system testing and turnover phases.

•

Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements during commissioning execution.

•

Mentor junior staff and provide technical expertise as needed.

•

Report commissioning progress to project managers and clients.

Qualifications

•

Minimum 15 years of experience in commissioning and project management within the EPC industry.

•

Background in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, or power preferred.

•

Strong understanding of commissioning systems, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

•

Proven leadership and team coordination skills.

•

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

•

PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is a plus.
