Commercial HVAC-R - Retro-Fit Installer - Lead Position

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC-R Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves installing HVAC Equipment in commercial settings. The HVAC Installer will work closely with crew while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

- Install, HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.

- Conduct assessments of existing systems to determine necessary upgrades or repairs.

- Build and assemble HVAC systems according to specifications and client needs.

- Troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment during start-up and perform necessary adjustments.

- Plumb and connect various components of HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed on each system for future reference.

- Collaborate with other technicians and service personnel to ensure timely project completion.

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.

Qualifications

- Proven experience (10+yrs.) as an HVAC Installer in the HVAC/R industry.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

- Knowledge of air conditioning, heating systems, refrigeration processes, and related technologies.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams for installation purposes.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.

- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC installation preferred but not mandatory.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
