Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
•Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
•Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
•Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera for project scheduling and tracking progress.
•Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
•Manage contracts and oversee the procurement of materials necessary for project completion.
•Provide guidance and support to construction teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
•Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process and implement effective solutions.
•Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, including reports on timelines and budgets.
Skills
•Strong background in construction management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
•Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera and familiarity with construction management software like ProCore.
•Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
•Knowledge of construction site operations, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.
•Familiarity with contract management processes and negotiation techniques.
•Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
•Competence in using tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary.
