Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic work environment.
Duties
•
Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
•
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
•
Load and unload materials, ensuring they are stored properly on-site.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
•
Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety regulations at all times.
•
Participate in site preparation activities, including digging trenches or clearing debris as needed.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
•
Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
•
Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
•
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members.
•
Reliable transportation to job sites as required.
•
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing environments.
