Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties
•
Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
•
Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with their tasks.
•
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
•
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
•
Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas as needed.
•
Help with site preparation by clearing debris and preparing surfaces for construction work.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
•
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
•
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
•
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
•
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments.
•
Reliable transportation to job sites is essential.
