Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team on-site.
Duties
•
Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction process, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
•
Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and cleaning job sites.
•
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
•
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
•
Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas.
•
Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures as needed.
•
Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
•
Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
•
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
•
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
•
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
•
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with others on the job site.
•
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
•
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
