Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of tooling, programming, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other machinists to ensure high-quality production standards are met.
Duties
•Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
•Program CNC machines using Mazatrol and CAM programming software.
•Utilize SolidWorks for designing and modifying parts as necessary.
•Fabricate tooling and fixtures to enhance production efficiency.
•Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
•Perform inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
•Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
•Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes.
•Any other tasks as assigned by manager.
Skills
•Proficient in CNC machining techniques and operations, including milling and turning processes.
•Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
•Familiarity with Mazatrol programming language for CNC operations.
•Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
•Competent in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
•Thorough understand of G-code, GD&T, Trigonometry, Algebra and Geometry.
•Experience in 4th & 5th axis mills.
•Experience with Fanuc and Haas controls.
•Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fabrication processes.
•Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
