Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints using CAD software.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges to ensure accuracy.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical discharge machining techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating milling machines, lathes, and other CNC equipment.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software for design interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and materials.
- Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Experience with GD&T is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
