Prosper-Tech is a family owned (~25 people) CNC machining service provider for the medical device, aerospace, and defense
industries. We are looking to add to our operations team to keep up with strong customer demand in 2025.
- Full-time Position with base 40-45 hours /week with overtime at 1.5x as business requires. - $18-$24+/hr first shift, $20-26+/hr second shift depending on experience
- First shift (6:30 am – 3pm), Second shift (2:30pm-11pm)

- Operator Level 1:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Operator Level 2: All the above plus experience below
- At least 2 years’ experience operating CNC mills and or CNC Lathes
- Operator Level 3: All the above plus experience below
- At least 2 years’ experience operating CNC mills and or CNC Lathes
- Operator Level 1:
- Ability to communicate verbally and written and work well with others
- Ability to use a digital work system to track time and part counts.
- Willingness to learn
- Operator Level 2: All the above plus skills below
- Machine operation – familiar with Brother and HAAS CNC mills and FANUC controlled Lathes a plus
- Blueprint reading for dimensions and tolerances.
- Use of hand measuring tools (micrometers, height gages, gages, etc.)
- Must be able to pick up work offsets and tool offsets.
- Must be able to build cutting tool assemblies off set-up sheets with assistance from set-up machinist.
- Must be able to set up repeat jobs with assistance from set-up machinist.
- Operator Level 3 / Machinist Level A: All the above plus skills below
- Must be able to build cutting tool assemblies off set-up sheets autonomously.
- Must be able to set up repeat jobs autonomously.
- Machinist Level B: All the above plus skills below (included for reference only, not part of listed pay range)
- Must be able to program, set-up, and pass first piece inspection for 3-axis mill parts OR 2D lathe parts
- Must be able to create work instructions and create robust processes to machine parts
- Machinist Level C: All the above plus skills below (included for reference only, not part of listed pay range)
- Must be able to program, set-up, and pass first piece inspection for 5-axis mills OR lathes with live tooling, y axis, and subspindle to process small batch production parts efficiently
- Operate CNC Mills / CNC Lathes and make tool offsets and tool changes.
- Follow work instructions and make improvements as necessary.
- Perform in-process QC inspection.
- Debur and clean parts as necessary.
- Work within ISO9000 / AS9100 Quality Management System
