CNC Machinist Team Lead-2nd Shift

#1Have proven good attendance. This is a quality that we expect our team leaders to instill in their team and this can only be done by example. If you previously required a day off for the sniffles there is no need to apply for this job.

#2 Quality- candidates must demonstrate great communication skills. You will be required to learn all procedures and processes hands on in your department and must be able to eventually teach those procedures to all groups, such as those brand new to the work force as well as those transtioning in from another field.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate previous day activities to company owners, engineers, maintenance, upper management and sometimes customers.Critical is intershift communications details.

#3 Rates.This position requires not only the Knowledge of the CNC process, Blueprint Reading, Use of Microhite, Comparator and Gages, and product quality standards, but also the ability to teach and assist production workers in learning the process.

#4 Adequate comfort with computer systems to use ERP software, Microsoft office programs, especially Outlook and Excel.

Candidates are required to pass a drug screen and background check for successful placement
