CNC Machinist

We are small owned machine shop looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines and have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, maintain a safe working environment, and excel in an ever changing environment. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating the machines, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

This position has the ability to grow into more responsibilities, so the candidate needs to be extremely organized, personable, and willing to go the distance to get parts out the door.

Responsibilities:

- Operate CNC machines to fabricate components and products.

- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

- Perform routine maintenance on machines.

- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately.

- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.

- Inspect finished workpieces for accuracy and conformance to specifications.

- Maintain a clean work station and be willing to organize and clean any area in the shop.

We accept someone with no experience, but prefer someone with 2 or more years with CNC experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
