CNC Machinist

Job Summary

Perform all aspects of the machining process.

Essential Functions

- Set up & operate, monitor, adjust, remove, and replace machine tooling on all CNC equipment

- Carry out all aspects of machining/set-up operations with the ability to recognize/repair quality issues in a timely manner.

- Operate manual machines and power hand tools such as balancer, grinders, drills, sander, die grinders, etc.

- Operate mobile equipment and cranes such as forklifts, electric powered dollies, scissor lifts, etc.

- Operate general hand tools such as hammers, files, punches, etc.

- Perform housekeeping as needed to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned.

Skills or Experience Required

- Must have two (2)+ years machining experience.

- Must be able to use: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, Go/No Go gauges, dial bore gauges, thread gauges, depth gauge, hand/power tools.

Safety Equipment Requirement:

The use of appropriate safety equipment as described below is a condition of employment and not one of choice. While some tasks may require additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), standard safety equipment that must be worn while on the floor as follows:

- Safety Glasses

- Ear Plugs

- Safety Boots (Steel or Composite Toe)

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
