About Us:

VMI Manufacturing, LLC develops and manufactures mechanical and electronic line leak detection equipment, electronic and mechanical overfill protection systems for storage tanks, pump shutdown modules with integration to site monitoring equipment, re-pressurization modules to eliminate thermal contraction, and leak detector field testing equipment for the liquid fuels industry.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a CNC Machinist – Operator to join our team! Specifically, someone who has experience operating CNC machines, effective written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy, as well as problem-solving and troubleshooting skills would be an excellent fit. Key Responsibilities:

· Producing close tolerance precision parts

· Operator and team members cross checking for QC

· Continuous improvement to increase quality and overall production

· Perform routine maintenance on machinery

· Highest level of attention, meeting print specifications

Requirements:

· Previous experience on CNC Mills and Lathes, other related equipment

· Familiarity with machine tools and precision measuring equipment

· Analytical and mathematical skills

· Strong attention to detail is a necessity

Preferred Qualifications:

· Mill 5th axis knowledge

· Lathe; Y axis, live tooling, twin spindle knowledge

· CAD software experience
