CNC Machinist (Lead Track – 5-Axis & Lathe)

- Set up and operate 5-axis mills and/or CNC lathes
- Program using Fusion 360 and/or conversational controls (ShopTurn/ShopMill)
- Interpret complex blueprints and engineering specs
- Lead by example on the shop floor with precision, speed, and professionalism
- Manage tooling needs, setups, and production scheduling in collaboration with management
- Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, comparators, and CMMs
- Troubleshoot machining problems and implement process improvements
- Foster a team-first, quality-driven culture- 5+ years of CNC machining experience (milling or lathe)
- Expert-level proficiency in Siemens controls (ShopTurn/ShopMill preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings (GD&T knowledge a plus)
- Experience with manual inspection tools; CMM and optical comparator experience preferred
- Leadership potential or prior lead role experience
