CNC Skilled Lathe & Mill Machinists

As a CNC Skilled Machinist, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations. NVE will provide all the necessary tools to be successful; candidates will possess a positive attitude, a high mechanical aptitude and desire to be part of a successful team. Candidates must possess the skills necessary to set-up programs; read and understand G, M and Conversational Coding on various mills and lathes from Okuma, Haas, and Mazak manufactures.

Primary Responsibilities and Key Qualifications to include, but not limited to:

· Read and interpret technical documents and drawings of parts needing to be machined.

· Knowledge and ability to read calipers and micrometers and any other measuring device needed to preform job.

· Verify measurements of finished product meet specifications using standard measuring tools.

· Drill, shape, grind and smooth/polish parts.

· Machine setup.

· Broad knowledge and understanding of all machining principals.

· Experience in using electrical, air and manual tools.

· Ability and willingness to follow directions and work independently with a strong attention to detail.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Positive attitude and the ability to work in a highly motivated team driven environment.

Must have 3 - 5 years experience.

Must have reliable transportation.
