CMM Programmer/Technician

Job Description:

- Dimensional Lay out measurement for PPAP

- Gauge and Fixture calibration and Control

- Act as Quality Inspector backup

- In charge of check fixtures repairs and verification of the repairs by vendors

- Support Tool Room for all required CMM measurements

- Issue work order as required

- Ensure all 1st off’s meeting drawing specifications

- Conduct product In Process Inspection

- Conduct Process Audit

- Verify last off

- Follow IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 policies and objectives

- Quality of workmanship

- Recommend or provide solutions to problems

- Miscellaneous duties as required

Act as Quality Assurance Inspector Backup

Qualifications:

- Ability to work with measuring devices including CMM

- Basic understanding of metal stamping process

- Ability to program CMM for automatic measurement

- Communication skills

- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T

- Strong knowledge of calibration and MSA

- Knowledge of IATF 16949

- Microsoft Office, PC-DMIS, COSMOS

Education/Experience

- Minimum grade 12 with 6 years of experience or college certificate with 2 years of experience

- Minimum 2 yrs. Experience with C.M.M measurement and programming

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
