Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a keen eye for detail. This role is crucial for producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to understand machining requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize tooling setups and machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge and ability to understand "G" and "M" codes required.
- Experience with power tools and precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Proficiency in CNC Programming using Fusion and MasterCam.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings effectively.
- Strong understanding of tooling requirements for various machining operations.
- 3+ years experience in CNC machining.- A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement within the workplace.
