Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Overview:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven CFO to lead the capital-raising efforts for a transformative diagnostic innovation. This role is critical to securing the financial foundation necessary to scale operations and fulfill the organization's mission to revolutionize global cervical cancer screening. The position is success-based with a compensation package that includes equity, performance incentives, and a salaried/benefits structure upon achieving key funding milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
•Spearhead efforts to secure up to $15M in funding from high-net-worth individuals, venture capital, and strategic investors.
•Leverage an extensive network within the diagnostics, healthcare, or life sciences sectors to attract and secure financial partners.
•Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies, including convertible notes, equity investments, and milestone-based financing approaches.
•Strategic Financial Leadership:
•Build and maintain dynamic financial models to guide investment decisions and communicate long-term growth potential.
•Align financial strategies with organizational goals to optimize resources and drive growth.
•Provide strategic insight and counsel to the leadership team on financial planning, and capital allocation.
•Investor Relations and Compliance:
•Cultivate relationships with current and potential investors, ensuring transparent and impactful communication.
•Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks during the fundraising process.
•Act as a passionate advocate for the product, emphasizing its innovative approach and potential to address critical gaps in global cervical cancer screening.
•Collaborate with technical and marketing team to effectively communicate the product’s value proposition to stakeholders.
The Product:
This innovative diagnostic solution addresses a significant unmet need in cervical cancer screening, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Current systems face challenges including higher unsatisfactory sample (UNSAT) rates, reliance on expensive specialized equipment, and limited accessibility.

•Superior Performance: Reduces UNSAT rates by 60%, significantly lowering the need for patient revisits and enabling faster diagnostics.
•Cost-Effective: Operates without specialized equipment, eliminating financial barriers and making it accessible in resource-limited settings with highest mortality rates.
•Validated Technology: Proven efficacy in over 25,000 tests, demonstrating reliability and consistently lower UNSAT rates
•Advanced Capabilities: Integration (optional) with AI-assisted slide analysis and digitized imaging for remote expert access and review, a much-needed option in resource limited settings.
•Global Impact: Positioned to address the screening gap affecting 500M women globally, particularly in underserved regions.
Market Opportunity:
There are 500M women with unmet needs according to WHO, with leading companies burdened by equipment requirements for sample prep, our test does not require such equipment hence changes the dynamics in accessibility and affordability especially in LMIC’s. This clear advantage sets us apart from capturing the unmet needs of some 500M women. A 10% market penetration projects over $250 million in revenue within five years. In addition, the company is set to leverage appropriate global NGO’s and governmental departments for top down roll out along with traditional channels for faster adoption to address the critical and urgent need.
Compensation Structure:
The role offers a dynamic and motivating compensation package designed to align the CFO's success with the venture’s growth.
•Pre-Milestone Compensation:
•Equity: An equity incentivized role with additional incentives on milestones and successful capital raising.
•Performance Incentives: Bonuses tied to achieving key funding targets.
•Post-Milestone Compensation:
•Salary: A competitive salary will commence upon achieving defined funding and operational milestones.

Qualifications:
•Demonstrated success in raising significant capital within diagnostics, healthcare, or life sciences.
•A strong network of investors, including venture capital, private equity, and high-net-worth individuals.
•Expertise in financial modeling, fundraising strategy, and investor relations.
•Background in diagnostics or medical technology is a significant advantage.
•Advanced financial credentials such as MBA, CPA, or CFA are preferred.
•US based remote role for starters with flexibility to relocate post funding to Southern NV highly desirable.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
