CRUSA Construction & Restoration Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. This is a full-time, in-house position focused on accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end financial close processes.

Responsibilities

•

Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.

•

Conduct thorough financial report interpretation to provide insights into financial performance.

•

Manage accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.

•

Perform cash flow analysis to monitor the organization’s liquidity and financial health.

•

Collaborate with management on financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow.

•

Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable.

•

Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis.

•

Apply knowledge of corporate finance principles to support strategic decision-making.

•

Utilize debits and credits effectively in double-entry bookkeeping practices.

•

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries.

•

Engage in governmental accounting when necessary, adhering to relevant regulations.

•

Collaborate with clients or departments to provide guidance on private equity investments and financial concepts.

•

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

•

Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.

•

Work closely with project managers to support job costing and budget tracking.

Skills

•

Active CPA license (required).

•

Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

•

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction/restoration.

•

Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections.

•

Proficiency with Sage and/or other construction accounting software.

•

Strong knowledge of AR/AP workflows, and financial reconciliation.

•

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

•

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

•

Expertise in managing accounts through effective debits and credits practices.

•

Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping systems.

•

Excellent skills in financial report interpretation and cash flow analysis.

•

Experience in construction is a plus.
