Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting practices, with a focus on delivering accurate financial reports and insights. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with GAAP standards and supporting our clients in achieving their financial goals.

Duties

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Manage general ledger accounting, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

•

Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting to assist clients in strategic planning.

•

Provide expertise in governmental accounting for public sector clients.

•

Collaborate with private equity firms to analyze investment opportunities and financial performance.

•

Write comprehensive financial reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

•

Utilize accounting software such as Quicken to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.

•

Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records.

Skills

•

Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.

•

Proficiency in governmental accounting standards.

•

Experience with private equity analysis and reporting.

•

Excellent skills in financial report writing, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

•

Familiarity with GAAP regulations and compliance requirements.

•

Competence in general ledger accounting, including account management and reconciliation processes.

•

Ability to forecast financial trends based on historical data and market analysis.

•

Proficient in using accounting software, particularly Quicken, for effective financial management.
