You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Ceramics Manufacturing Operator in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Ceramics Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. In the ceramics product center powder is pressed, sintered, and ground to fabricate fuel pellets. You will learn all aspects of fabrication in the area. Your work will include:

- Operating production equipment

- Responsible for manufacturing and assembly of nuclear products.

- May be required to work around chemicals and radioactive materials and must be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.

- May follow drawings, guidelines, and/or procedures to ensure product specifications and tolerance are met.

- Be competent to perform tasks that may impact on health and safety in the workplace.

- Relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

- Working under immediate supervision.

Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. Your Total Rewards Package

The starting pay rate for this position is $24.75 per hour. After a successfully completed introductory period the pay increases to $25.75 per hour and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
