Roll Form Machine Operator/Fabricator

Custom Steelcraft is a Steel Fabrication company located in Lakeville, MN. We are currently seeking a Roll Form Machine Operator/Fabricator to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

This is a production-based role. This team member will be responsible for working with heavy duty production machines performing roll form fabrication and metal forming tasks. This will include everything from machine set-up, troubleshooting, take down, as well as cleaning up of line area. This role is also responsible for verifying correct quantities are produced, that items produced meet and/or exceed quality standards, and that job paperwork is completed according to company policy.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Excellent mechanical aptitude, must be comfortable using hand tools

- Forklift Experience a Plus

- Great time management

- Ability to communicate effectively (speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction)

- Skillful in reading shop drawings and blueprints

- Quick troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to focus and complete tasks with interruptions/distractions

- Must be knowledgeable with measuring and dimensioning

- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

- Understand Lockout/Tagout procedures

- Positive attitude, great work ethic

Work Environment:

- Industrial warehouse with temperature fluctuation based upon season

- Must be able to lift, push, bend, pull 70 pounds regularly

- Required hours Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 10 hours)

- Steel toe boots are required for this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience
