In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy-duty equipment. You will work closely with our operations and maintenance teams to ensure our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for the field.

# Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding operations using various processes on heavy-duty equipment

- Read and interpret specifications, drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders

- Assemble and weld raw materials and fabricated components using MIG and other welding processes

- Adjust voltage and amperage settings as required

- Operate hand tools, powered tools, plasma cutting torch, and welding equipment

- Position and clamp parts in fixtures and operate overhead bridge cranes / jib cranes

- Chip, clean, grind, and finish welds to required standards

- Use smoke extractors and anti-splatter products as required

- Report repair issues, equipment delays, and maintenance concerns to the Supervisor

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

- Adhere strictly to all HSEC policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Journeyperson Welder certification, red seal is an asset.

- Experience working with mining or heavy equipment repairs and customizations.

- Possess a valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract.

- Ability to pass a Drug/Alcohol Screen & Fit for Duty test.

- Ability to work with limited supervision or as part of a team.

- Knowledge of the mining industry considered an asset

Monday-Friday

7:30am-4:00pm
