Durkin Water & Propane is a family-owned business servicing the consumer and wholesale sectors of the fuel oil, propane, pool & emergency drinking water market. As a growing business in the water and energy industry, we are actively searching for a dedicated Class A, CDL professional to join our team. We are looking for a positive, motivated individual who is eager to learn our business and become a crucial asset to our fleet of daily run tractor trailers. Duties and Responsibilities:

· Safely operate a tractor and tanker trailer of water, oil, and or propane

· Transport oil and/or propane to our wholesale terminals scattered across the tri-county area

· Transport bulk pool and/or drinking water to our residential and commercial customers across the tri-state area

· Properly track and document dispatched work, maintenance logs, and DVIR’s

· Represent the company in a professional and courteous manor to our customers at all times

· Properly document notes on each job, and communicate on site details with our office

· Promptly report issues or incidents to our office

Requirements:

· Obtain class A CDL – One (1) year minimum experience preferred

· Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required

· Ability to pass a DOT physical

· Clean driving record with minimal activity of any violations

· Ability to work seasonal weekends as needed

· Work a flexible 1-week on call rotation scheduled once every 6-7 weeks

· Ability to thrive, both independently as well as in a group environment

· Prior knowledge of the energy business is a plus but not necessary. Durkin’s is willing to train you!
