Mid-Am Metal Forming is a metal fabrication company based in Rogersville, Missouri. We specialize in architectural metal forming, fabrication, painting, and assembly. Our custom-manufactured components are commonly used in commercial building products across the entire United States and have been used on buildings as far away as New Zealand!

Job Description Summary: Mid-Am Metal Forming is looking for a qualified Class A CDL Driver at our Rogersville, Missouri facility. If you have a Class A CDL and are tired of being away on the road 5+ nights per week, then this could be the job for you. This position is a hybrid that sees some days on the road and other days working at the plant. During the five-day workweek, the position will typically drive two to three days per week, with the other two to three days being at the plant. There are regular routes to key customers that require an overnight rest period, such as Texas or Nebraska, which is spent in the sleeper cab. Trucks operated will be Volvo sleep cabs with 53’ Conestoga flatbeds. Most driving is done during the day, but there will be certain runs that require driving while it is dark outside.

Job Duties

· Secure loads on trailers and deliver to customers in a safe and legal manner

· Strictly follow all DOT rules and regulations

· Perform pre-trip inspections on all company vehicles used

· When not driving, work in the production facility, usually in the shipping department. That work includes trimming parts for packaging, building crates, completing packing slips, housekeeping, etc.

Job Requirements and Skills

·Current Missouri Class A Commercial Driver License and medical card

· Must be able to pass all background checks, including past employment checks with previous driving positions, DMV records, and DOT drug screen.

· Must be able to lift 75 lbs. on a regular basis
