Job Description

CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver Responsibilities:

•

Operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) on public roadways.

•

Deliver steel products using company Flatbed trailer

•

Ensure timely and safe delivery of cargo.

•

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

•

Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status.

•

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.

•

Handle and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.

•

Follow company policies and procedures for safety and operations.

CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver Requirements:

•

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

•

Minimum of 12 months of experience

•

Must be 23 years or older.

•

Clean driving record with no DUI convictions in the previous 7 years.

•

Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and pre-employment drug screen.

•

Ability to operate a CMV safely and efficiently.

•

Strong communication skills and reliability.

•

Must meet all qualifications in section 391.11 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations handbook.

Qualifications:

•

Valid Class "A" License (CDL)

•

Clean MVR

•

1 Year prior experience as CDL Truck Driver

Required license or certification:

•
Class A CDL

* Candidate must pass a drug screening test for employment
