We’re looking for a skilled Carpenter/Lead Hand to join our construction team. This role combines hands-on carpentry with the ability to lead crews, manage site activities, and ensure high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Hand Duties

- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.

- Lead and work alongside site workers, subcontractors, and trades.

- Ensure work is completed to code, spec, and schedule.

- Support communication with clients, inspectors, architects, and project managers.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

- Monitor supplies and equipment and coordinate deliveries.

Carpentry

- Perform framing, finishing, cabinetry, and custom woodwork

- Interpret blueprints, and technical drawings

- Maintain and repair structures as needed

- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Qualifications:

- Legally eligible to work in Canada

- 5+ years in construction; 2+ years in a supervisory role

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Carpentry certification/apprenticeship preferred

- Valid driver’s license required

- Ability to read blueprints and plans

- Proficient with tools and safety codes

- Detail-oriented

- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations

- Ability to lead and motivate teams
