Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Canvasser and we are really looking for an experienced canvassing team to join our company. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible for engaging with the community through door-to-door outreach, promoting our initiatives, and gathering valuable feedback. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for connecting with people to drive our fundraising and marketing efforts.
Duties
•
Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage potential supporters and gather information.
•
Communicate effectively with community members to explain our mission and initiatives.
•
Negotiate support and build relationships with potential donors.
•
Assist in fundraising efforts by promoting events and campaigns.
•
Provide excellent customer service while addressing questions or concerns from the public.
•
Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and improve effectiveness.
•
Maintain accurate records of interactions and feedback collected during canvassing activities.
•
Participate in training sessions to enhance canvassing skills and knowledge of the organization.
Experience
•
Previous experience in sales, fundraising, or customer service is preferred.
•
Familiarity with supervising teams or leading outreach initiatives is a plus.
•
Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance communication with diverse communities.
•
Experience in electioneering or political campaigns is beneficial but not required.
•
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
•
A genuine interest in community engagement and advocacy is essential.
