Purpose of Position:
The Camp Manager will oversee all ICE Services staff (Billeting, Catering, Housekeeping, Janitor, (if required), Maintenance, and Water Treatment Plant) and be accountable for their day-to-day operation. The position will be the single point of contact and responsible for the camp's scopes and management. The role includes hands-on management of the work teams and close interface with the client company logistics supervisor site leadership.
Critical to the success of the position is Supervisor Safety Leadership: leading toolbox talks, establishing appropriate levels of risk tolerance with the team, intervening when needed, reviewing JSA's, integrating with Company's Work Management System, stewarding ICE Service's participation in the O&I program, and delivering first-class safety performance in the following areas: Billeting, Hospitality, Kitchen, Camp, Water Treatment Plant, and Incinerator (if required).
Educational Requirements:
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience and Background:
•Must have five or more years of experience managing a remote camp.
•Enjoy working with people.
•Friendly, helpful, and patient.
•Good communication skills.
Certificates, Licenses, or other Requirements:
•Valid State ID, Driver License, or government-issued ID.
•North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Card preferred, not required.
•Ability to lift & carry 30 pounds on a regular basis and perform routine walking, standing, and bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services, as well as urban community services.
•Must pass pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, the contract required medical test, occupational test, computer-based testing, and background check.
•Current First Aid & CPR certifications
Essential Duties or Functions:

•Primary responsibility will be to oversee all ICE Services staff and be accountable for performance and responsible for the management of the facility and its personnel utilizing hands-on supervision of ICE Services employees and close interface with Client's Company.
•Be the point of contact for all services and personnel.
•Be part of Client's Company site leadership team, which will require attendance at daily coordination meetings.
•Plan and organize maintenance, hospitality, catering, and other duties as required.
•Manage and maintain records, plan work schedules, recruit-train-monitor ICE Services staff, and ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety/environmental, and other statutory regulations.
•Additional administrative duties include both maintenance and kitchen ordering approvals, ensuring ongoing training is up-to-date, and completing general paperwork.
•Meet and greet customers, address problems and troubleshooting, deal with customer complaints, comments and carry out inspections of the facility for cleanliness and aesthetic purposes.
•Execute safety programs associated with camp operations, including leading toolbox meetings, fire evacuation procedures, and drills. Work closely with the ICE Services maintenance staff to ensure facilities' needs are met.
•Meet with other managers/supervisors (internal and external) to share information and develop positive working relationships.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other Software programs as assigned. Must understand and comply with State and Federal regulations.

•Liaison between Company, Contractor and Contractor's Subcontractors
•Manage all external entities that either coexist or are part of the camp's operations.
•Review, approve and sign billeting reports and all other reports that are the contractor's responsibility under the scope of work agreements.
•Liaison with camp owner for all repairs and warranty items.
•Recognize and mitigate any problems and hazards associated with running a full-facility camp in its entirety, remedy these issues cost-effectively, and notify the proper entities as necessary.
•When required, coordinate the camp assigned bus, truck, or other vehicles for daily usage, facilitate maintenance and downtime with proper document tracking.
•Manage and report to the company, as necessary, safety issues and concerns in the camp from Subcontractors and residents.
In all cases, the Camp manager shall be responsible for the care and maintenance of the camp including, but not limited to generator, servicing, routine PM maintenance to include timely snow removal around the camp and company-approved facility upgrades to meet the building and fire code requirements. Camp management shall recognize and mitigate any non-warranty problems and hazards associated with running Camp and its entirety. The camp manager is responsible for ensuring that the camp carries sufficient repair parts to quickly repair the critical equipment or machinery necessary to sustain a hospitable living environment to include but not be limited to heat, lights, ventilation, potable water, wastewater, preservations of food and the serving of hot food.
