Camera Control Technician

CDR General Services is seeking high-level Camera Control Technician is Brusly, LA with full-cycle experience in installing, wiring, and programming access control and CCTV systems. Location: Brusly, LA Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm (Schedule may be 5 days/8 hours; occasional call-out work required) Pay: $30-$40 per hour depending on experience ($130/day per diem for travel)

Responsibilities

- Install, wire, and program access control systems when required.

- Set up software to manage camera operations and access levels.

- Troubleshoot issues with cameras, recording systems, door strikes, readers, and software errors.

- Integrate camera and access control systems with alarms and other security systems.

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of all equipment.

- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, user access, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

- Full-cycle experience with both access control and CCTV systems (install, wire, program).

- Knowledge of wiring, relays, and low-voltage systems.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Understanding of security protocols, standards, and best practices.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and reliability.
