Job Description: We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team as Field Security Camera Technician. In this role, you will support various operations in the company, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. In this position a Field Security Camera Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security camera systems and related equipment at client sites. This role ensures optimal functionality of surveillance systems to maintain safety and security standards.Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Install, configure, and test security cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related hardware.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including wiring, connectivity, and software integration.
- Provide on-site support and training to clients on system operation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with the technical team to recommend system upgrades or improvements.
- Excellent Computer Literacy: familiarity and ability to use tools such as Computers, iPads, ELDs, KPA, SLACK, Email etc.
- 1–3 years of experience in security systems installation or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, networking basics, and low-voltage wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and remote monitoring tools.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential job duties including operating company equipment & Company Vehicles safely. Stand and walk for a minimum of 4 hours at a time on caliche, gravel, board roads, mud, snow. Perform all essential functions outdoors in extreme weather conditions (heat, snow, ice, rain) safely. Maintain attention span to stay alert and attentive for up to 12-hour shifts while performing repetitive tasks. Bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and crawl throughout the work shift while always wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following safety protocol. Repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb, balance, and stand on stairs and ladders.
Job Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
- Authorized to Work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver License
- Good driving record within the last 5 years
- Reliable Source of Transportation
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Familiarity with logistics and route planning.
- Excellent Computer Literacy: using tools such as iPads, ELD Systems, KPA, SLACK etc.
- Valid DOT Medical Card
