CAD Drafter / Detailer

Woodland, WA 98674 CAD Detailer / Drafter

Mechanical design & fabrication company seeking an individual to generate submittal and fabrication drawings.

Duties:

- Provide engineering support by drawing preliminary components for review

- Revision control of existing drawings

- Maintain file organization

- Produce detailed submittal and fabrication prints per engineered designs

- Effectively communicate schedule and workload to other detailers

Qualifications:

- 5 years minimum drafting experience creating detailed drawings and dimensioning

- Proficiency in Inventor required, SolidWorks, or other 3D CAD programs a plus

- Knowledge of fabrication and weld symbols is required

- Satisfactory completion of a background check and drug screen

- Attention to detail and well organized

- Ability to work independently in a team environment

- Ability to work with tight deadlines and improve on scheduling

- Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at a time

- Ability to learn quickly
