CAD/BIM Coordinator

Established Mechanical Contractor has an opening for a full-time CAD/BIM Coordinator for large multi-residential new construction projects in our Walpole office. This position requires regular attendance at coordination meetings with GCs and other trades, both online and in-person, to provide technical design support. This is an on-site position, not remote.

Responsibilities include:

· utilizing information on design drawings, specs and submittals to produce MEP shop drawings for construction

· coordination and as-built drawings

· clash detection

· assist with pre-fab drawings

· work with field personnel on project start-up and problem solving

Qualifications:

· relevant degree or technical trade school certification

· minimum of 2 years’ work experience with AutoDesk design software suite

· possess a working knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing shop drawing standards

· ability to handle multiple projects in a timely manner with accurate results

· be a self-starter with keen attention to detail

· read, write and understand plans and directions given in the English language
