As a Business Intelligence Manager joining our EPC team, you will be a team leader to improve how we work together for a unified outcome within Project Controls. This position is located in-office at our Durham, NC headquarters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set-up and maintain Progress Tracking and Reporting:
•Track and report project progress through detailed schedule updates, providing status reports to project managers, senior leadership, and stakeholders.
•Ensure accurate documentation of all project schedule changes and update reports for stakeholders regularly.
•Analyze schedule performance and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and timelines.
Perform Data Analysis and Forecasting:
•Analyze project schedules to predict potential delays or risks, providing forecasts of project completion dates.
•Generate schedule performance metrics and dashboards, using data to advise the project team on how to improve performance.
•Prepare "What-If" scenarios to evaluate the impact of different project/portfolio changes and develop mitigation strategies.
Optimize how teams work:
•Create and streamline processes to improve effective project execution and project controls.
•Identify opportunities for schedule acceleration or efficiency gains.
•Support data-driving decision-making by aligning data management processes and business processes allowing for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing key business and project data.
•Work with people, processes, and data related to EPC projects to enhance performance, costs, and schedules
•Using Primavera P6, PowerBI, and your wits, develop functional dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders including SPI, CPI, and Physical Completion
•Implement systems to assist in tracking and forecasting project budgets, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
•Identify trends and opportunities for improving project efficiency and cost-effectiveness
•Support the implementation of business intelligence tools and reporting automation
•Present cost insights and recommendations to project managers, finance teams, and senior leadership
•Upgrade processes and tools, as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is non-management and does not have any direct reports
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
•Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations
•Bachelors or Masters in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
•Excellent report preparation and presentation capabilities
•Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, ERP systems and cost management software
•Must possess critical and analytical thinking skills, with examples of structuring new processes, quantitative problem solving, and negotiations
•Team focused success – not individual successes
•Project and resource scheduling skills using Primavera P6, desired
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment and occasionally in the field. Required to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 20 pounds. May be exposed to weather elements in the field and must have the ability to drive a company vehicle.
