Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business objectives, ensuring that technology solutions meet the needs of our stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

- Develop and maintain project documentation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Utilize data analysis skills to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.

- Create visualizations using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to present findings.

- Assist in project management tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed solutions.

- Design and optimize databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.

- Employ programming languages such as R, Python, and VBA for data manipulation and analysis.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Utilize Visio for process mapping and documentation of workflows.

Experience

- Proven experience in business analysis or a related field.

- Strong understanding of database design principles and SQL for querying databases.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.

- Proficient in analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.

- Experience with programming languages including R, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and VBA is a plus.

- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
