Business Analyst

We are hiring a Business Analyst who will be developing business plans for Giampaolo Group Inc and Triple M Metal LP. You will be supporting the corporate and business line by introducing solutions for strategic issues necessary for the achievement of longer-term goals and multi-year business targets. Including: changes or improvements to current business plans, scope, policies, and procedures. Additionally, to provide feasible recommendations to division management on how to optimize near-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with department leadership to develop and maintain business plans the support and introduce solutions for strategic issues necessary for achievement of longer-term goals.

- Provide support to department leaders and management through:

- Identifying and addressing key strategic issues

- Facilitating strategic discussions with relevant parties

- Generation and dissemination of analytical research that supports plans and initiatives

- Benchmarking, target setting, and continuous improvement of controllable variables to meet identified goals and objectives

- Scrutinize business performance results

- Identifying strength, weaknesses, opportunities that contribute to the evaluation of operational effectiveness

- Provide analytical research to support the reasonableness of annual and 5-year business plan target expectations

- Budgeting & board meeting support

- Sales & customer presentation assistance

- Inventory & allocation model reporting

- Cost/pricing analysis and modeling

- Operational data gathering & analysis

- Project, engineering & manpower analysis

- Transportation costing and interyard pricing

Job Specific Knowledge and Skills

- Understanding of economics, financial analytics, market research, mathematics, and general business concepts/terminology

- Demonstrated judgment and influencing skills

- Analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Experience with Power BI

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, marketing, finance, or science

- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar analyst role
