Overview: Monarch Metal, Inc. is a leading provider of high-quality architectural metal products, specializing in innovative interior and exterior hanging solutions. We have physical locations for manufacturing and shipping in Ronkonkoma, NY, Grand Prairie, TX, and Sparks, NV. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Building Materials Salesperson to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role is pivotal in driving the sales of our products by educating and consulting with customers on their architectural and construction projects.
- Sales: Execute your sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for interior and fabricated products manufactured at the factory in TX. Increase product orders and revenue specific to the TX facility.
- Customer Education: Educate architects, contractors, and developers on the benefits and technical specifications of our solutions.
- Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their project needs and recommending suitable products that solve ther problems or fills their needs.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the architectural and construction industries. Maintain a portfolio of current customers while also adding new customers through lead lists provided by the company and inbound leads.
- Product Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments related to hanging systems to effectively position Monarch Metal, Inc. as a leader in the market.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including product development, engineering, marketing, production, and customer support to help you grow the TX business. These teams are here to support you in your success.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the architectural or construction industry.
- Building materials knowledge and/or experience with panel systems, cladding, rainscreen, curtain wall, and building envelope is desired. Someone who comes from the construction industry with a willingness to learn, will also be successful in this role.
- Strong desire to succeed and motivated to meet or exceed sales goals earning a fantastic salary as a result.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex product specifications. Architectural drawing knowledge and competency is desired.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate audiences creating confidence in you and the company.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and demonstrate the ability to retain knowledge. We will train the right person if there are gaps in experience.
